Lake

We ran down to the lake the other night to get a few pictures before the fall colors disappear. Jacob was pretty tired so we couldn't get any smiles out of him. He actually fell asleep on the way home (3 miles).

3 months old!

I'm 3 months old!
Weight: 14 pounds, 15 ounces

I'm teething (I have been for awhile now, but my gums are hurting more lately).
I love to chew on my fists (sometimes both at once).
I'm only waking up once in the night now! I eat and go right back to sleep.
I love to lie on the floor and talk with people.
My balance is a little off, otherwise I'd be standing on my own. My neck and legs are really strong!

Nephew's visit and Shrine

Our nephew came and spent a couple nights with us. He loves to work so we kept him busy. :) 

He was thrilled to be able to giving Jacob his first ride in the Toolcat.

In his downtime he played with Jacob. :)

We took advantage of the gorgeous fall weather and went up to the 

Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in LaCrosse (and met my sister there).

 There was lots of excitement when one of the boys found a living walking stick. 

We prayed the Stations of the Cross along their outdoor path.

Back at home...

Weekend

On Friday, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the miracle of the sun at Fatima, we went to Mass in the morning. I hadn't been in this church since my brother got married 27 years ago, so it was neat to see it again. :)

Yesterday, a friend came out with her kids to visit/play - but I forgot to take pictures!

Today we got together to celebrate our niece's (and God daughter's) 5th birthday. After lunch we went to the Poynette Game Farm for a hike. It was overcast and a little cold, but still fun. The walnuts and maples have started to change colors, but that's about it. Fall is late this year!

 Back at the van, they broke out the cupcakes for a birthday treat.
