Bath time

Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma, for the bath toys!

6 months old!

I'm 6 months old!
Weight:  20.5 pounds

I can sit up all on my own and am nice and stable.
It's fun to look in the mirror and see such a handsome boy.
I like to play with anything that's out of reach.
I love to be held, but I usually try jumping out of your arms to get something.
I still don't like to eat fruits, but veggies are so yummy!
No teeth yet...

Faces

We went out to eat today and Jacob was making the funniest faces. It was hilarious! :) 

 

We had some warmer weather this weekend so we were finally able to get outside.

On the move...

He's not quite crawling, but he still manages to move a bit. 😊

Jacob likes to munch on his spit-up rags and just about anything he can stuff in his mouth.

 Daddy is teaching him how to drink out of a cup. 😊 He's doing great!

Randomness

Practicing his crawling. He's not there yet, but he's making progress! He'll get up on all fours now and rock back and forth, not quite sure how to move forward.

Lounging around, just taking it easy :)

Misc

Just sitting under the Christmas tree, talking with Baby Jesus before bedtime.

On our way home from Mass on New Year's morning, we saw these tall rainbow pillars on either side of the sun (nothing like a typical sun dog). The picture doesn't do it justice at all - the rainbow had deep colors and you could see it arching over the sun. Never seen anything like it before! It was a perfectly clear day, blue sky everywhere. (but very cold... -15)

He's so big now he sits up in his bath! He's a baby no longer...  

He loves looking at pictures of himself.
