We planted some Calendula this year so I can attempt to make some salve. (We'll see how that goes.) Jacob likes to help me harvest the flowers, at any rate.
I pruned our Magnolia into a tree and Jacob and Timmy had a blast with the branches I cut off. They made two forts and played Cowboys and Indians.

We hit the beach! Just Yellowstone. But we had the place to ourselves (mostly) and the kids all had a blast.

We had a campfire and roasted hot dogs for supper.
We apparently didn't have any big marshmallows in the house, so Jacob roasted a mini one.
Jacob wanted to say prayers outside, so they all gathered around and knelt down. :)
