Starved Rock

 

We went to Illinois the last weekend in October and the colors were gorgeous!

Sunday was spent hiking at Starved Rock.

We spent the night at a hotel and hiked at Matthiessen State Park on Monday.

Singing

 We were driving and praying the rosary in the car. The kids were saying the responses like normal until Jacob started singing his part. I thought it was hilarious. :) He did almost 4 full decades like this!

This and that

 

We put up some strips of wood with magnets on the wall in our school room.
I thought it would be a nice place to hang up some of their work. 

Until we open the window or turn on the fan and everything falls down. Whoops. 😊

The kids picked up hickory nuts and were able to sell them, so they made their own money!
