Storytime

 Jacob and Timmy decided to make me a pizza (out of MagnaTiles). They got a special chair set up for me and then asked if I wanted them to read a book to me while I ate. I didn't think to start recording at the beginning, unfortunately.

Altar Boy

 Timmy served his first Mass today, on the feast of Corpus Christi!

He just processed in/out and knelt with the other altar boys (no actions or responses), but he did great! He kept his hands folded and didn't look back.

We're so proud of him!

Jacob says that he wants to serve at Mass, too, but he's going to wait until he's 12. 😁

David is 3!

 David is 3 years old!
Height: 37.5"   Weight: 31 lbs  (43rd percentile)

Davey is a sweet boy who enjoys building with MagnaTiles and driving around his trucks. He likes to read books and ride his balance bike and 4-wheeler. The sandbox will keep him occupied for ages. His favorite color is yellow. He's pretty independent and likes to do most things without help. He's proud of the fact that he's a big boy now.

Decorah, Iowa

 We went on a mini-vacation to Decorah. 

It's a beautiful area and we had perfect weather both days!

We stayed in a hotel (with a nice big room!) and minutes after arriving, Timmy says "I do NOT like sleeping in the city!"

Misc

 

The 3 oldest all had their first dentist visits - and they all got clean bills of health! whew!

They were very excited to tell me how they were making algae (by mixing grass clippings with water)

And this is how your hands look after picking up lots of freshly cut grass...

The boys collected a bunch of their toys, grabbed some masking tape and a permanent marker, and started labeling each toy with a number. They said they were having a garage sale.
