Tummy time

2 months old!

I'm 2 months old! (a few days ago)
Weight: 13 pounds
Height: 23"

I'm finally on a schedule, eating every 3 hours starting at 7am. I go a little longer than that overnight (with a record 5.5hrs just recently).
I'm smiling more every day, but I make sure to stop as soon as the camera comes out.
I love being outside!

Random happenings

Dominic got a new (used) truck and Jacob was checking it out.

New cousin

 Jacob's new cousin was born today! He's a sweetie.

We had to compare sizes, though. Jacob is 8 weeks old - he's the same length (23") and only about 1.5 pounds heavier. :) He's trying to make himself look big in the pictures, though!

We're very fortunate that Jacob enjoys his baths. He's not very happy when we take him out, but he loves to sit in the warm water!

 

Catching up

 Busy/fun times! :) Dominic's family came out to our place on Sunday and I took exactly 1 picture. (just goes to show what an inexperienced blogger I am!)
It was great to have the entire family together again!

After that, my niece and some of her family came into town for a few days.

Fun at the zoo!

Our Goddaughter spent the night with us and helped take care of Jacob.

Labor Day weekend

We had a fun weekend! Saturday we spent working around home. 

Dominic is putting the finishing touches on our new chicken coop.

On Sunday we went to the county fair and then did some hiking.

On Monday we went to my brother's place for a fun party (complete with a pinata!)

School has started
