Our garden is doing really well this year. This is the 2nd year that we've put grass around/between everything to keep the weeds down and it works great!

Summertime is a great time for kids, especially little boys. Love these little snapshots of their fun!
When you say you used grass in the garden, do you mean clippings? We plan to have a garden next year so any little tidbits of knowledge are certainly useful.
