Winter is here

Dad bought a tractor for the boys. 

Jacob is working on fixing the hitch. 

Not technically the safest ride, but Dominic was right there if needed :)

We woke up the other morning to snow 😢

Jacob loves playing in it. He needed his shovel right away so he could get to work.

It's been a cold fall this year!

Since we started having fires this fall, Timmy thinks its his duty to go around and collect paper (newspaper, magazines, whatever he can find) and crinkle them up so they can be burned.

We seeded the area where one of our trees had been, and the boys helped put straw over the seed.

We've started the post-storm clean up.

Both boys have been helping pick up sticks (though, truth be told, Timmy takes more sticks out of the wagon that he puts in 😏). Jacob is a good worker!

He found a caterpillar on our walk and told it to crawl "under" (between his legs). It was very obedient.

Our neighbors have been combining their corn fields these past few days and the boys enjoy watching it.

Cousin K came down for a visit the other day. The 3 boys were playing together, loading up the little loader tractor with rocks from the driveway.
