This and that

A few people have asked me how many pictures I take each day. It varies - some days I don't take any at all. This past weekend I took 300 over 2 days (and we stayed home). ;-)

The boys had been wanting to go outside all the morning to splash in the puddles, but it was cold and raining so I told them they had to wait and maybe after naps they could go out. Jacob was so disappointed (to the point that he was crying) when he woke up from his nap and saw that the puddles had dried up.
Thankfully Dad was able to make them a puddle to play in, so life was good again. ;-)

Jacob is so sweet and picks flowers for me nearly every day.

The pine trees have become our de facto hide-and-go-seek spot, I guess.

Is there anything cuter than 2 little guys holding hands?

So this is what happens when the boys are outside unsupervised - about 20 logs, a rake, and a decent pile of rocks thrown into the cow tank...

Jacob was riding Ol' Blue and decided he needed a cowboy hat to wear

Our drain field went bad and the guy who's replacing it brought out a small excavator to test the soil. It made for a very enjoyable morning (for the boys!) getting to watch it all.

Where's Jacob? Sitting in the other room reading a book.

Not sure how it came up, but we asked him if he knew the names of any of his uncles. Yes, he does. Which ones does he know? Uncle Tony. Who else? Uncle James. Who else? Christopher Robin.

Watching Dad till the gardens

After all the hard raking, a drink is in order.

Planting sunflower seeds

Meanwhile Timmy spent his time scooping up the dirt and dumping it back - loads of fun ;-)

Jacob: "Apples on the flower tree!"
