Quotable Quotes
Jacob: "There's one truck on the road! <pause> Dad, there's TWO trucks on the road!! Must be an emergency!"
Timmy: "I love Davey. He's always happy."
Jacob: "This not working good. It's not a good system. Need a new system."
Me: "What should we do today?"
Timmy: "Wanna go...wanna go...wanna go...wanna go...wanna go...wanna go...to Little Bear's House?"
Looking at a field covered in dandelions...
Jacob: "How do all the kids get to the field?"
"Why do kids need to get to the field?"
Jacob: "To pick dandelions for their Mamas!"
On a very rainy day...
Timmy: "Dad, did you hear that noise?"
Dad: "No, what did it sound like?"
Timmy: "It says "Timmy, you can go outside now!"
Jacob, struggling to pull up his underpants: "I too fat for underpants!"
Timmy: "It went WAY fast! It was sweet!!"
Jacob: "Why is this piece of water here?"

David is 1yr!
Davey is 1 year old!
Height: 30" Weight: 23 lbs
Davey is a happy little guy. He's content to sit and play by himself most of the time, though he does love to splash in the toilet and empty out the kitchen cupboards. He's not walking yet but it shouldn't be too much longer - he just seems to prefer crawling because he can get to his destination so much faster that way. He likes to play with the big kids, but he plays too rough for them. He has 8 teeth and is a very good eater. He sleeps 11+hrs at night and naps 3-4hrs during the day. He loves being outside, watching the cows and the cats. He says Mama, moo, and kitty-kitty.

Baking
My sister-in-law let the 3 big kids bake with her, and afterwards told me about the experience. I laughed so hard, I just had to share:
...when simultaneously Jake solemnly said it would work WAY better to mix with "this" and traded in his whisk to thump the batter with the soup ladle...while Timmy decided to pour the milk into the measuring cup himself when I was distracted stopping Mike from drinking the vegetable oil, who then quickly switched to scooping half mixed batter out of the bowl on to the counter and smooshing the lumps with a measuring cup to " mix"... while Timmy was carefully measuring the flour EXACTLY perfect and then poured all over Jake's arms- still happily mixing busily with his ladle 😁 then I gave them all wet dishcloths & told them to clean their workspace and they all 3 happily set to & our counters have never been scrubbed SO thoroughly and rigorously and then they said they needed to clean the "dirty" stove too!
