Elephant Rocks State Park was a hit!
Quick stop (after lunch) to check out a caboose at the visitor's center.
We stopped at the Pilot Knob battlefield and were pleasantly surprised to see that they were practicing for a reenactment.
One of the soldiers was super nice and talked with us about his life and all the gear that soldiers would pack and carry with them.
Then it was on to Johnson's Shut-Ins! It was beautiful, but access to the river was closed due to the high/fast water.
We made it back to our house rental with enough time for the kids to hop in the hot tub for a little bit before bedtime.
