My brother hosted a pool party on Saturday.
Jacob much prefers to sit on the sidelines and watch people in the pool,
rather than getting in the water himself.
While the kids and women-folk played in the pool, the guys played volleyball.
Best buddies :)
After the adults were done with the real volleyball games, the boys got out there to play.
On Sunday we had a surprise birthday party for Jacob's uncle.
After the pizza party, some of us went to the park for a little hiking.
They have a couple towers that you can climb to see the view.
After a long, fun day, Jacob didn't even wake up after we got home and started getting him out of the car seat. Tired little man!

These pictures remind me of how much fun we had as kids, playing with cousins. Life just doesn't get any better! Jacob is blessed beyond measure to have such a large extended family!
