One thing we found out (after we got there) about the place where we were staying is that it had been owned by Vincent Price's sister. He used to visit there often to get away from people. The cabin where we stayed was called "Vincent's Cabin" and his portrait was hanging on the wall. It was a little creepy (hence the reason it was taken down until we left). :)
Another thing we learned while we were there is that day 5 of our trip marked the 25th anniversary of the death of Vincent Price. Fittingly, the day was overcast and dreary.
In the morning we headed over to Pilot Knob and Fort Davidson (Civil War battlefield). I didn't get many pictures since I mostly stayed in the car with the boys while they slept.
Then it was on to Millstream Gardens Conservation Area for another hike.

The afternoon was rainy so we stayed inside and played games.
The next morning we headed home after breakfast.
Within the first 5 minutes, both boys were asleep. It was a fun (but tiring!) trip for us all.
